My stay at Bridge Street House had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Winchester, making it easy to explore. However, I found the cleanliness of my bathroom to be quite disappointing, which really impacted my overall experience. On the flip side, I enjoyed a comfortable night's sleep in the well-furnished room, making it a mixed bag overall.

The room I stayed in was well-furnished with great amenities, including a fan and blackout curtains, which made for a comfortable stay. However, it could have been cleaner.

I had a pleasant stay at Bridge Street House, enjoying the cozy vibe and accessibility to the city attractions. The room was spacious and well-decorated, though traffic noise was noticeable since mine was at the front. Some aspects, especially the cleanliness of the ensuite, could use improvement. Overall, it offered great value for the price, and I'd be keen on returning.

Rooms
6.0
I stayed in a large room that was nicely decorated and equipped with tea and coffee facilities. However, I was disappointed by the cleanliness of the shower, as it had some mold and drainage issues. The bed was quite comfortable, but the noise from the street made it challenging for light sleepers like myself.
Service

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the check-in process smooth. They provided earplugs for the noise, which was a nice touch. However, the lack of immediate staff presence during the day was a bit concerning.

Bridge Street House is conveniently located right at the end of the high street, making it easy to explore Winchester's attractions. This prime spot was great for a quick walk to the local sights but come with some traffic noise due to nearby roads.

The breakfast options were quite basic, offering self-cook items and local produce. While it wasn't a cooked breakfast, it included some nice selections like boiled eggs, toast, and local meats. It was decent for what I paid.
Facilities

The room had all necessary facilities including a cafetiere for coffee, which I appreciated. However, I did encounter some cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall experience.

I had a mixed experience at Bridge Street House in Winchester. On one hand, the location was fantastic, putting me right in the heart of the city and close to local attractions. However, the cleanliness of the room was disappointing, with stains on the carpet and signs of mold in the bathroom. While the staff was mostly friendly and welcoming, cleanliness issues detracted from my overall enjoyment.

Unfortunately, there was no cooked breakfast available, which was a letdown. The option to prepare basic foods was available, but I was hoping for more substantive options.

I had a fantastic stay at Bridge Street House. The comfort of my room was great, and the atmosphere was charming, complemented by friendly staff. However, the location above the restaurant does mean there’s some noise during the evening, though it calmed down by midnight.

While there isn’t air conditioning, having a fan in the room and being able to open the windows helped. I would've liked a few more amenities, but overall it didn't detract from my stay.

My stay at Bridge Street House was mostly positive. The location is fantastic, allowing easy walking access to the city center and attractions. While the room was spacious and had a cozy atmosphere, the bathroom could use some updates, particularly with a leaking tap. On the downside, I was disappointed that the live music I had anticipated wasn’t on during my stay, though the bar atmosphere was still lively and enjoyable.
